Six times on the BDA shortlist

For us, six reasons to keep insisting on the details.

Zoza: naming and voice.
Zoza: naming and voice.

The Brasil Design Award (BDA) announced its 2026 shortlist on November 6, out of 1,372 entered projects. Sweety & Co. appears on the list six times, and the awards event will take place on December 7.

Zoza: the brand you hear before you see it

Zoza was shortlisted twice, for naming and for voice. The name comes from “gasosa”, the old, affectionate Portuguese word for soda, shortened and turned into something light, memorable and full of personality. The voice is optimistic, simple and direct, and celebrates the small pleasures of everyday life: a soda made with real fruit and natural ingredients, with no added sugar.

Kokeshi: maturing without losing the affection

Kokeshi is shortlisted in Repackaging, the packaging redesign category. In the rebranding of the J-Beauty-inspired skincare brand, the challenge was to mature a brand loved for being sweet without erasing its personality. The answer is a replicable design system that combines minimalism with Asian codes, with a lowercase logotype and the doll audiences already recognize, redrawn. Dozens of products, bottles, tubes and boxes share the same architecture.

Jasmyne: accessible beauty is a matter of design

Jasmyne is also in Repackaging. The new packaging system for the core line trades ornament for functional beauty: a neutral base in fendi, off-white and nude tones, and a yellow inspired by the jasmine flower as its signature. Three proprietary formats (cylinders for liquids, compact cases for powders and ergonomic tubes) are united by an embossed J monogram, designed for self-service retail, where the pack is the only salesperson.

Teddy Glow and Cheirinho da Farm: Mass-Market Packaging

Both are in Mass-Market Packaging, a category where design has to work at scale and at first glance. Teddy Glow brings Teddy Fresh's streetwear energy into beauty, with unexpected formats, sculptural caps, metallic embossing and bear pendants that turn each package into a collectible object. Cheirinho da Farm translates one of the brand's most iconic scents into a sculptural diffuser, where Brazilian identity meets pure geometry. The project also won Gold at the Abre Award 2026.

Thank you to the clients who trusted these projects and to the team that took each one to the shelf.
